Greene, an RMG Direct company, marked its first 20 years in business in January 2008. The company’s founder and former president, Henry M. Greene, started Greene & Associates as a consulting firm in January 1988. Mr. Greene had had nearly two decades of experience at nearly every level of the teleservices industry – telephone sales rep, supervisor, and manager – prior to starting his own firm out of what was then his home in Libertyville, IL. While operating his consultancy, Henry found it necessary to actually provide some of the type of telemarketing services on which he was being consulted: those with a focus on business-to-business applications, representing clients whose products had relatively high price points.
In 1990, Greene moved its headquarters and built an actual call center in nearby Lake Forest, IL, which was to be the company’s home office for 14 years. During this time, Greene began to add qualified business-to-consumer calling programs to its business-to-business programs, which remained the staple of the business. Greene & Associates acquired new clients and grew its volume to the point where two temporary satellite offices were opened in downtown Chicago, and, in 1997, a new permanent call center was opened in Manchester, Iowa. In August 2000, Greene & Associates was purchased by the Dolan Media Company in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and was to remain a fully owned subsidiary of that company for the ensuing five years.
In November 2003, Greene built another permanent call center, this one in Independence, IA, and the company began to offer inbound call center services in addition to outbound sales, lead generation, and other telemarketing services. In July 2004, the company moved its corporate headquarters to its current location in Lincolnshire, Illinois. In September 2005, Greene & Associates was purchased by Randy M. Greenberg, the company’s longtime Vice President and General Manager. Randy is now President and owner of Greene, an RMG Direct company. In March 2007, Greene opened yet another call center in Monona, IA.
In February 2008 Customer Interaction Services magazine named Greene, an RMG Direct company, in its Top 50 Teleservices Agency ranking at 25th, its highest placing ever. The award was based on volume between November 1, 2006 and October 31, 2007, during which period the company made over 17 million calls on behalf of over 100 clients across several industries. Greene, an RMG Direct company, continues to focus on business-to-business calling for high-end sales, lead generation, sales appointment setting, and professional conference registration; and on qualified business to consumer calling for continuity programs, subscription products, financial services, and many other services and products.
